This 4-star, 19th-century house offers bright, cosy en suite rooms with excellent views of the Lakeland fells. Situated in the centre of Keswick, it offers hearty, locally sourced breakfasts.

Individually decorated, and with views from all windows, each room at Swiss Court Guest House offers TVs, complimentary biscuits, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi and hairdryers too, while some rooms provide bathrobes.

Home-cooked breakfasts are served in the light and spacious dining room. Guests can enjoy either a full cooked traditional breakfast, vegetarian, or choice of lighter options, including fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, juice and cereals.

Limited free parking is available at Swiss Court. The shores of beautiful Lake Derwentwater are just 15 minutes’ walk away, which offers rowing boat hire and ferry trips. The nearby Theatre by the Lake also shows frequent productions on the Lake’s shore. Keswick features numerous museums and shops, all within a 5-minute walk.
