Set in pretty Topiary gardens, The Hill offers traditional Cumbrian breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and elegant bedrooms. The Victorian house has a rural location in Ings village, just 5 minutes’ drive from Windermere.

The bright bedrooms are individually decorated, and each has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All rooms feature tea/coffee facilities, and a modern, en suite shower room with a hairdryer.

Hearty cooked breakfasts are served daily in the charming dining room, which features an original fireplace. Breakfast includes award-winning local meats, homemade breads and Lakeland teas.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, The Hill is a 10-minute drive from the shores of Lake Windermere. Free parking is available, and there are plenty of popular walking routes nearby.
