Situated in the historic market town of Ashbourne, the Compton House boasts free Wi-Fi and free private parking. This family-run guest house is just 9 miles from Alton Towers Theme Park.

Originally 3 terraced cottages, the Compton House offers rooms with a TV, radio, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bath or shower rooms have a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

In the mornings, the Compton House serves full English breakfast. Dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce, along with homemade jam and marmalade.

Ashbourne is home to the St Oswalds Church, which dates back to the 14th century. The surrounding Peak District countryside is ideal for scenic walks. It also offers numerous historical houses, including Kedlaston Hall, which is just 11 miles from Compton House. Whiston Hall Golf Club is just 20 minutes’ drive.
