St Georges House is situated 8 minutes’ walk from Shanklin town centre and the rail station. From the property, it is a 5 minutes' walk to the cliff-top pathway, which leads down to the beach. Free parking is available on site and complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in public areas.

Each room at St Georges features an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also available.

A full English breakfast is served in the dining room, along with fruit juices, cereal and tea & coffee. Afternoon tea, evening meals and picnics are available upon request. Upon arrival, there is complimentary tea/coffee and homemade cake.

Guests can also relax in the guest lounge, which features a widescreen TV with DVDs and a sound system. A range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails are available at the bar.

St Georges House is a Victorian house. Shanklin Old Village and the wooded coastal ravine of Shanklin Chine are just a 5-minute walk from the property, as well as high street shops and restaurants. A “land train” runs a regular service from the esplanade to the Old Village.
