Located in the centre of the historic Yorkshire town of Ripon, The Royal Oak provides the ideal base for a rural getaway. Public parking is possible nearby, and free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout.

The Royal Oak is set in a beautifully renovated 18th century coaching inn. Each individually decorated room has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities, and each room is en suite with either a bath or a shower.

The Royal Oak has its own bar and restaurant, which has a contemporary menu based around locally sourced ingredients. Further bars, shops and restaurants in central Ripon are a 5-minute walk away.

Ripon Cathedral is less than 150 metres away and Ripley Castle is 7 miles from the property. The town of Thirsk can be reached in 20 minutes by car, whilst the entrance to the Yorkshire Dales National Park is 15 miles away.
